About this gate
A black wrought iron pedestrian gate set into a brick wall, with vertical bar infill and a simple decorative head.
Pedestrian gates are the jobs where fit is everything. The opening is small enough that a few millimetres of gap either side is immediately obvious, and brick openings are almost never truly square. We measure the actual opening rather than working from a nominal size.
Finish
Galvanised first, then powder coated black. Black remains the most requested colour by a wide margin and it suits brick and stone equally. Because the galvanising sits under the colour, a scratch in the powder coat does not start rust the way it would on a painted gate.
