Stainless steel handrails and access steps fabricated for a swimming pool installation.
Pool environments are among the most aggressive we work in. Warm, permanently humid air carrying chlorine attacks ordinary steel quickly, and it will find any weld that has not been properly finished. This work was made in stainless and the welds dressed back and polished, because a rough weld in a pool hall is where corrosion starts.
Grades matter
For indoor pool and coastal work the grade of stainless is a specification decision, not a detail. We will advise on it rather than defaulting to the cheapest option, because the difference only shows up two or three years later.
