What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They are used to make a site work, to remember choices, and in some cases to measure how a site is being used.

What this site uses

We keep this deliberately minimal.

Essential cookies. WordPress, the software this site runs on, sets a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to function — for example to keep a session secure and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
Analytics cookies. Where analytics are in use, they record anonymised information about how visitors move through the site — which pages are viewed, roughly where in the country visitors are, and whether an enquiry was sent. This is used only to improve the site. It does not identify you personally and it is never used for advertising.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run retargeting, and we do not share cookie data with advertising networks.

Third-party content

Our contact page embeds a Google Map so you can find the workshop. Google may set cookies through that embed, governed by Google’s own privacy policy. Links to our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages do not set cookies until you follow them.

Controlling cookies

Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies through its settings. Blocking all cookies will prevent parts of most websites from working properly, including this one. Guidance for each browser is available on its own support pages, and general advice is available from the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
